Star Chapter 147 Ride Calendar

Since January and February are behind us, the scheduled 2008 ride schedule is as follows:

3/15/08 LaConner, Anacortes, Whidbey Island

3/30/08 Officer Meeting & Rendezvous

4/19/08 Burlington & Chuckanut Drive

5/17/08 Stonehenge & Mary Hill. - This may be an overnighter

6/21/08 Yakima via Chinook Pass to Ellensburg and I-9

6/27-28/08 2008 NW STAR-B-Q – Meet up at Ken’s Truck Stop in North Bend. First group to pull out at 9:00 am. Re-group in Post Falls for a large group ride-in. This will occur both Thursday and Friday morning

7/19/08 Grand Coulee Ride – Overnight trip.

7/22-25, 2008 STAR Days – Rodgers, Arkansas

8/16/08 Forks or Hurricane Ridge

9/20/08 North Cascades to Winthrop or the entire North Cascades Loop.

10/18/08 Snoqualmie Falls or Marco’s Restaurant depending on the weather

11/15/08 Marco’s Restaurant

12/20/08 Marco’s Restaurant – possibly a potluck at Denny and Sandy’s?

12/27-12/28/08 Combined Western Washington Christmas Party – Evening or Overnight. This will be held at the Muckleshoot Casino in Auburn. There are motels in the area with shuttle service to the casino. More on this in the next month. Registration and payment will be needed in the summer to hold your place at the table.

Undated suggested overnight trips were: Mount St. Helens, Vancouver Island (3 days), and the Peninsula Loop

Special scheduled rides:

5/31 1st Annual Jim Schermerhorn Poker Ride
This is a rain or shine event. Starts and ends at Skagit PowerSports 1645 Walton Drive, Burlington, WA. $10 registration fee. Registration begins at 9 with first bike out by 10. BBQ lunch, big prizes, high hand 25%, low hand 25% and 50% to Jim's family. Stops include Scooter Stuff, Cycle Barn, and QuilCeda Leather. Drawings for winners begin at 2.
